OVERVIEW: 2018

January-September, 2018 – GLGA retained to conduct conceptual design and product development studies for a group introducing an innovative approach to combining exercise and physical therapy.  The new generation equipment to be applicable to be used in a physical therapy, gym and/or home setting.  Based on GLGA’s design work prototypes are being constructed to assist with further development and to conduct preliminary marketing studies.  During this past year various feasibility studies and technical and financial proposals have been prepared for pipeline and large bore projects and related to the tunnel improvement project for which GLGA was responsible for PM/CM services starting in 2017.  GLGA continues in its role as Director of Technical Services for a company introducing a U.S. Patented energy saving technology for use by oil companies at their pump jack installations throughout the U.S.  A beta testing program has been completed with several oil companies and the electric energy savings recognized by a major California utility making the product eligible to receive rebates it has to encourage investment in energy saving technologies

OVERVIEW: 2014-2017

April-December, 2017 - GLGA conducted a Technical Review and Planning Study for a Major Water Sustainability Project to supplement and provide a long-term water supply for the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.  Project is sponsored by the Idaho Water Resources Board and involves construction of a Pump Station on the Snake River and a 14-mile Pipeline for water delivery from the River to the Air Force Base.  Also, completed a Strategic Plan for a New Industrial City Development comprised of Refinery & Petrochemical Plants, Gas Processing Plants, Crude Oil and Product Terminal Facilities, Marina and Port Facility, related Power and Energy Manufacturing, and Business and Residential Development.  Plan currently under review; GLGA is in an association with local government agencies and developer to provide Master Planning and Feasibility Analysis during the next phase.  GLGA continues to provide consulting services for various Mixed-Use Developments, most recently in Egypt, and on a proposed development in southern California started in 2016.  From July into December, GLGA provided PM/CM services for a Tunnel Improvement Project in Utah, in a 1.5-mile tunnel built in 1937 by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.  The project is at a 10,000 ft. elevation, in a remote location in a National Forest.  Project involved tunnel preparation and start of construction of a pipeline through the tunnel (to be completed in 2018) that provides for an important source of irrigation and domestic water to a small historic city and farms and ranches in the region.

September, 2016 to March, 2017 - during this period, GLGA became involved in a number of professional and technical publications including the Journal of Petroleum Technology, published by the Society of Petroleum Engineers; Welding Journal, published by The American Welding Society and featured at their exhibit at FABTECH in 2016 in Las Vegas; and others.  Pre-contract engineering completed for "Snake River Habitat Restoration Irrigation Systems Project".  Marketing materials prepared for "Heavy Lifting Crane Services" (up to 242,000 lbs.) with a new mobile crane system introduced by Volvo and for "Pipelines & Welding Services" utilizing robotic welding systems as featured in The American Welding Society article mentioned above.  Pre-feasibility study completed for new 42-mile pipeline and 16-20 megawatt power station project under consideration by an Idaho Irrigation District that will use their water rights for both power generation and irrigation.  Construction and related activities in the northwest were slow during winter due to both economic and extreme weather conditions, about 40" of snow received during a 2.5-month period, along with rains and freezing conditions.  GLGA continues to provide services related to a proposed Mixed-Use Development in southern California, and for introduction of a new energy saving technology currently beIng introduced and marketed to U.S. oil companies for use on their electric motor driven pump jack installations.

 

March to August, 2016 - Continued involvement in agri-business projects.  Recently completed major pipeline project that delivers water to a large farm on a plateau at the top of the Snake River Canyon.  Prepared feasibility study with power utility company to demonstrate how proposed design would increase capacity and improve efficiency over existing pipeline system.  Coordinated demonstration of new orbital welding technology with manufacturer's representative, article to appear during fall in welding trade journal.  Designed strategic leasing program to enhance market opportunities with oil companies interested in new motor control technology that is being introduced in the U.S.  Selected by Idaho-based Mining Company to prepare master plan and financial feasibility study to re-open mining operations on a large mountain in southwestern Idaho.  GLGA heading up team, selected to master plan new mixed-use development in southern California, final stages of property acquisition and assembly underway.

 

November to February, 2016 - GLGA projects currently underway include technology-oriented proof-of-concept studies; planning, design and financial feasibility studies for mixed-use development; engineering and construction management for major agri-business facilities and systems infrastructure projects; procurement of major industrial equipment for an international government client; and participation in guiding the introduction of a new electric motor control technology to U.S.-based oil companies. 

May-October, 2015 – GLGA teamed with Resource Management Associates, Inc. and Turbine Power, Inc. to provide twenty (20) GE TM2500 25megawatt gas turbine powered generators in response to a request received from a GLGA International Associate.  Sale Agreement prepared with pricing structure, shipping and insurance costs, and terms and conditions needed to facilitate the transaction. 

 

Technical and financial proposal submitted to U.S. Bureau of Land Management for multi-year contract to gather, provide care for and shipping of wild horses from sites in seven (7) states to U.S. Government release areas and/or holding facilities.  Proposal submitted on behalf of Clearwater Contracting, LLC; team members including El Aero, Elko, NV to provide helicopter services for horse gathering

 

Pre-feasibility study prepared related to acquisition and privatization of an Oregon Irrigation District.  Advantages would include economies of scale in farming operations; the District is currently comprised of many small farms, and to achieve more efficient use of irrigation water, made possible by the large farm operation, replacement of the canal water delivery system, approximately 10-miles in length, with a much shorter pipeline system, and access to capital for needed improvements.  Water shortages and loss of available water through canal systems has reduced crop yields, shortened planting seasons; which are particularly significant for small and marginal farm operations. 

 

Continued support provided for E2T to assist with its introduction of an advanced motor control technology to U.S. based oil companies.  Technology involves reduction of demand charges, and sale or reuse of regenerated power from pumping jack operations.  Utilities now have programs to offset investment in energy saving technologies, reducing the payback period for purchase and installation of E2T’s product and providing a high return on investment to oil companies in an initial 5-year operating period.

January-April, 2015 - Market research underway and pre-feasibility study completed for Oregon Irrigation District related to investment in and construction of new pipeline to replace canals historically used to deliver water to farmers from a reservoir in the District.  Plan involves fabrication of special steel pipe in California, and its delivery by rail (150-cars) then truck to project sites.  Currently responding to inquiries regarding International parties’ interest in investing in U.S. companies and technology; in conducting an engineering design review for refinery project in the Middle East and with U.S. groups to acquire major farm properties in the U.S. Northwest.  GLGA continues to provide project management and consulting services to an Idaho-based construction company involved in pump station, pipeline and related agriculture, energy and infrastructure projects.

 

August-December, 2014 - Management services being provided by GLGA for large Water Delivery System (Pump Stations and Pipeline) for the 7,000-acre farm in Ontario, OR nearing a successful completion.  Feasibility studies underway for Reconstruction and Modernization of a Major Farm in southwest Idaho.  Project involves a more than 700' lift of water in a 36" pipeline from a Pump Station in the Snake River Canyon to the farm property.  GLGA continues to work with Everhart Energy Technology, Inc. (E2T) in support of its efforts to introduce an Advanced Motor Control Technology to U.S. Oil Companies for use on pump jacks and large-compressors used in production.  GLGA involved in organizing, planning and negotiating Field-Test Programs with major and medium size oil companies.  Most recent efforts involve a Major Oil Company's regional operations in Wyoming and an Oil Company based in Irving, Texas for the over 800 well-sites they operate in New Mexico.

 

March-July, 2014 - Completed technical and marketing studies for an Advanced Motor Drive Control system designed for use by Oil Companies to reduce electricity costs involved in oil field production.  "White Paper" published in association with Chemex, LLC, a U.S. modular refinery equipment manufacturer.  GLGA selected to assist in the management of a major project involving reconstruction of a 50,000 gpm pumping station and 9-miles of large diameter piping, along with construction of booster pump stations and connections to a large irrigation system serving a 7,000-acre farm in eastern Oregon.  Proposal recently submitted to fabricate and install high-pressure gas piping at a treating facility under construction as part of a project to modernize and expand an existing gas gathering system in Payette County, Idaho.

 

January-February, 2014 - GLGA contacted regarding purchase of a 7,000 bpd Canadian oil refinery for refurbishment; to be installed along with a new 20,000 bpd refinery, to be built in the U.S., both projects for an established Oil Company in the Middle East.  Various financial, technical and legal reviews are underway to determine the feasibility of the project.  GLGA continues to provide assistance to a new U.S. Company introducing a patented electric motor control technology; field-test and sales proposals have been submitted to six oil companies in the U.S., and discussions are underway to secure early stage financing.

OVERVIEW: 2011-2013

October-December, 2013 - Strategic relationship established between GLGA and a U.S.-based company introducing a new advanced motor control technology for oil company use on pump jack installations in N. America.  Use of the system/equipment results in significant savings in electrical energy and has other benefits as well.  GLGA is assisting with preparation of corporate and technical materials for use with potential customers, in the target market, and with investors; and has been selected to direct technical services for the company.

 

August/September, 2013 - Completed preliminary study related to setting up a development company in a strategic relationship with oil companies to build new single-family residential communities at locations in the N. Dakota Bakken Reserve.  GLGA also responding to recent contacts regarding projects in Libya and Iraq; and from a Middle East client to assist with their selection and acquisition of a fleet of twelve (12) twin turbo-prop aircraft, to be built in the U.S. and configured for executive and/or commuter use.

 

May-July, 2013 - GLGA submitted several pre-feasibility studies and proposals during this period including to a Development/PM Group with a recommended plan for reorganization of a Luxury Resort Project; to a Large Global Company in response to their interest in acquisition of mineral rights and mining properties, particularly those with the potential to include vertically-integrated processing facilities tied to their manufacturing business; and to an Investment Group to assist their introduction of an advanced technology to save power on pumping and other industrial equipment.

 

February/April, 2013 - GLGA involved in pre-feasibility studies related to development of a new transshipment hub and modern cruise ship port facilities in the western Caribbean.  Concessionaire and privatization options are being evaluated and reviewed with Government Authorities to determine the best approach to secure engineering, construction and operational/management capabilities; and funding to implement a comprehensive port development program.

 

January, 2013 - GLGA relocates its US operations to Meridian, ID; completes re-incorporation in Nevada as GLGA International USA, Inc. 

 

August/October, 2012 - GLGA submits Letter of Interest, Q&E, Memorandum of Understanding and Technical Proposal  to provide EPIC services for a State Government-sponsored Refinery Development in the Niger Delta in Nigeria.  Teaming discussions underway with associate engineering and construction companies for new community development and refinery projects in N. Africa and the Middle East.     

 

June/July, 2012 - Robert C. Wakeling joins GLGA International Leadership Team as Associate Director and Representative for Africa and Sustainability Projects.  Discussions currently underway and proposals submitted for manufacturing and food processing facilities, a government sponsored program for use of oil industry gas flarings for power generation and setup of local area utility networks, and preparation of a Nigeria National Aviation Systems and Airport Development Plan. 

 

April, 2012 - GLGA International Proposal to conduct a Phase-1 Data Collection, Master Planning, Conceptual Engineering and Economic/Financial Study submitted and under review by Republic of South Sudan's Ministry of Oil.

 

March, 2012 - GLGA International teams with UAE-based Engineering/Construction firm to respond to New Republic of South Sudan's Ministry of Oil request for GLGA to prepare a feasbililty study for a Multi-Phased Refinery Development Program.  GLGA receives clearance from U.S. Dept. of Commerce and U.S. Dept. of State to proceed recognizing importance of economic development to South Sudan's future.  GLGA also contacted regarding business/financial opportunities related to acquisition of internationally branded 5-Star Hotels in Middle East and to prepare and evaluate options to acquire/build a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) ship for a Saudi Arabian Company.

 

January/February, 2012 - GLGA International responds to requests for Letters of Interest and submittal of Qualifications/Experience for large industrial and infrastructure projects in Middle East and Africa.

 

December, 2011 - Discussions with Representative of Ruler of Fujairah regarding forming Public/Private Partnership and use of  a Sovereign Guarantee to support Refinery Development Program at Port of Fujairah.

 

October/November. 2011 - GLGA contacted regarding New Airport in NW Africa, Railway project in Middle East and by Minister of Housing regarding reconstruction projects in Libya.

 

September, 2011 - Equility Capital Asia Pacific proceeding to fund UAE Refinery Project.  Senior GLGA members named to UAE Oil & Gas Company Board of Directors.

 

August, 2011 - Contact made with highly-placed Company in UAE regarding GLGA International current project in UAE and marketing opportunities in Gulf Region.

 

July, 2011 - Proposal submitted to provide technical servIces for acquisition, upgrade and shipment of a Jack-Up Rig (with a 350' operating depth), estimated cost at $200 million US.

 

June, 2011 - Strategic relationships established with a Global-Engineering Firm and CHEMEX, a refinery modular equipment manufacturer for pending EPIC Refinery Contracts.

 

March, 2011 - Completed Pre-Feasibility Study and Business/Financial Plan for 100,000 bpd privately-funded Petrochemical Refinery in Fujairah, UAE.

 

January, 2011 - Completed Programming and Schematic Design for Special Needs Schools Complexes in Kuwait.  Three (3) Campuses, 9,000 Students, $4 billion US ECV.
